Gregg Austin & Second Wind have long been an entertainment staple on the Las Vegas Strip since their arrival from Chicago, Illinois in May 1988. In the annual reader poll they have been voted Best Vocal Group by the Las Vegas Review Journal numerous times. Due to their popularity, they have been one of most sought after performers on the Las Vegas Strip.
In March 1993, Gregg Austin & Second Wind joined the cast of the celebrity tribute production show American Superstars. They were the anchor act of five, portraying the legendary Temptations for the next six years. Immediately, because of their authentic presentation, they were compared to and sometimes confused with the actual group they were portraying.
In January 1999, Gregg Austin & Second Wind performed overseas as the Headlining Act for various American based production companies. To date they have performed in over fifteen foreign countries including but not limited to cities in Japan, China, Australia, Greece, Italy, Singapore and Germany.
In September 2001, Gregg Austin & Second Wind performed as Headliners in the Casino Arizona production show, Showstoppers, Live! Gregg Austin was the creator and producer of this very successful celebrity tribute show. That show closed at Casino Arizona in December 2011.
After working as Headliners for both Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Princess Cruise Lines, Gregg Austin & Second Wind returned to Las Vegas to Headline an all new musical variety show at The South Point Hotel / Casino in September 2012. That show, The Magic Of Motown & More, is now in its second successful year.
