Synth-Pop Academy, pays homage to the legends and pioneers of Synth-Pop artists like Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, OMD, Gary Numan, When In Rome, Alphaville, New Order, and many others whose primary sound is based on elctronic music. Lead vocalist Jayden Frost is an industry veteran (who is  also the only George Michael tribute artist in the USA), is the former lead vocalist for the modern reincarnation of the band WHEN IN ROME, whose hit song "The Promise" was featured in Napolean Dynamite in 2002 and a number one hit song in 1988. Synth-Pop Academy brings a night of chart topping sing-a-long dance hits and a high energy atmosphere to each perfomance. Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop) is a subgenre of new wave music that first became prominent in the late 1980s and features synthesizers and keyboards as the dominant musical instruments.
